The story takes place in Britannia, during the time of Ultima VIII. Call it my bit of speculation as to what happened as the Guardian took over. I am sure that a great deal of the story will be invalidated when Ultima:Ascension comes out, but that doesn't bother me. It is still, I hope, a good story.
The story is incomplete right now. I'm still working on it vaguely continuously
and I will be updating the pages as I go. I also plan on putting some pictures
into the story, doctored U7 screen shots, if (and this is turning out to be a
big if) I can get Ultima VII to work on this computer. My hopes were further
dashed when I heard that the Ultima Collection does not make this any easier.
But I'll work on it. In case any of you are curious, the idea for the
pictures came from my reading of the story The Aftermath of Ultima VIII, by
The Amazing Dragon; the first piece of Ultima fan fiction I had read, and still
one of the best. I will, soon enough, put links to other Ultima fiction in
these pages. Until then, here's a link to

I particularly recommend The Aftermath of Ultima VIII: Pagan; Ultima VII, the
Return; and Prisons. But that's just me.
In any case, on to my story. This will be a link to a table of contents, once the story has more than 2 chapters and it's worth my while. :)
